Hi,
Because I like the concept of ZeroTier, I tried to find a sw package for openpli/enigma2. Is this available or did someone compiled it for this platform ?
So far no luck

There are some freelancer posts asking to create a bitbake recipe for it, so I assume it doesn't (publicly) exist.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Installs without any issue. Seems to work really easily, but I have a local issue that my openpli 7 and zerotier for the moment can't access the local NIC on 127.0.0.1, although local.host is default in /etc/hosts. It runs but is currently throwing errors. Maybe others can also help. Seems a great product if it works!

Just a intermediate update:
To make it work I need to run this 1st because otherwise I can't connect
[ $(lsmod | grep "tun" | wc -l) -eq 0 ] && modprobe tun
To be honest someone needs to explain this to me. Seems to be a part of the network
And parallel to this I have also OPENVPN installed (was already installed). Just to be more complete for others that want to test this.

Seems to be good solution but I havent managed to make it work in my case. I was not able to ping pcs using zerotier IPs.
I use Radmin VPN now, but not for use with E2 receivers. Mainly for remote printing in order to avoid using google cloud print.
Maybe I will try again.

Hi,
Updated the recipe to include dependencies and init script etc.
Also updated to latest version. I'm sort of new when it comes to creating recipes so feedback is appreciated.. :-)

Can you post the steps that you executed and which packages are needed ? I only compiled oscam with a script, so completely new into this,

Just setup a stream (via zerotier and tuner fallback functionality in openpli) solution. Streaming over zerotier works as expected even with very high bitrates (6-8mb/s). But I admit that it can be challenging, but knowing that it can work helps me a lot to keep looking into the problems that I'm facing in these projects

I tested again and it works now. Very good solution if you want to avoid using OpenVPN solution which is not straight forward.

Can you build ZT also for Zgemma H9?

Is the recipe above still current? If so, we can include it in the upcoming 7.2-release.

It is already in develop (so it will be in 7.2-release), but the version mentioned in the recipe above is different from the one we currently build.
