This may sound a silly question, so sorry in advance, but as this is option is now obsolete under Pli Jade why not simply use the Movieplayer built into the Jade software?

See the wiki entry here >> E1MoviePlayer <<

Does it better than the old method .. by far :)

I have tried it and i can browse my files through the box but when playing a movie is like watching it in slow motion.
I ve tried 10 different movies and i am facing the same problem. Sometimes is rebuffering the movie and i cant find the reason why this happens.

I had the same problem and I used Netgear homeplugs to connect the DM to the router.
The problem was that they where connected on two different phases in the fuse box. I corrected this and now it works very good.

I dont know how you are connected to the LAN but to me it seems to bee somewhat the same problem.

Picture hangs e.t.c.
Try to find out what speed you are connected with.
