On openAtv - Blindscan finds transponders with SR <1000 - 940, 874, 700, below they did not want to do because they were busy working on the image of Atv 6.4.


The blindscan binary in 7.2-rc is binary identical to the one used in OpenATV (OE-A images) as that is where the octagon BSP installs it from.

But even with two different boxes, both with 7.2-rc, we seem to get different results, so something weird is definitely happening...

 

Tomorrow I will place screenshots from Blindscan with PLi and ATV from the same scanning range and the same satellite.

We can't change octagon-blindscan binary. Vendor has to do it, if needed.

We can only change plugin.py.

 

 

By the way: I did a blindscan (no parameters changed) with original blindscan binary and as far as I can see it works. See attached screenshot. Or did I do something "wrong"?

 

All users where blindscan is not working. Which box do you use? All the sf8008 twin or solo or combo?

Response to the red highlighted: I'm using the SF8008 Twin Turner. Currently only using Tuner B.

TEST Blindscan  23,5E   Scanning range 10700-11700 and 12500-12750MHz. . Octagon SF8008TWIN

Image OpenPLi 7.2  /Photos - PLi, PLi1, PLi2, PLi3/

Image ATV6,3   / Photos - ATV , ATV1,ATV2,ATV3/

Blindscan PLi found 10 transponders, Blindscan ATV found 11 transponders.

Blinscan PLi did not find any transponder from the SR 1000 range or less.
Blindscan ATV found two transponders in the SR 1000 range and me j - SR = 1000 and SR 940.
None of the Blindscans found transponders with SR = 285 and 556. -  These transponders are active / photo 1 and 2 /

Blinscan PLi after downloading from Feed does not work. It works only after replacing the -octago-blindscan file in / usr / bin / with the octagon-blindscan file from @ sami-noor.

The octagon-blindscan file in ATV has the size - 48063, and in PLi - 45591 - so the files are not the same.

In both Blindscans in the Blindscan folder no dmmBlindscan.py files are needed - without them Blindscan works normally, the data is taken from the file - octagon-blindscan / usr / bin .

In both Blindscach there is no option in the settings of the step selection option for scanning in MHz / e.g. 1MHz, 2MHz, 4MHz, 8MHz, 10MHz AUTO /
The choice of SR range should be from 100 to 60,000, Currently there is 1 to 60 MSym /

Searched transponders should be shown in real time. They are currently shown after the scan.

If Blindscan data were taken from the file dmmBlindscan.py - it could be easily adjusted / scan step, range SR / - there are scan steps. This file / I suppose / needed in Blindscan for DreamBox - because in my opinion this Blindscan is converted from the original Blindscan for DM.

thank you so much team openpli for octagon sf8008, i was much waiting for it.

 

i tested and seems it work fine except oscam .

 

i installed oscam from plugins and manally either but i cant get it to function. it seems installation is ok but it doesnt work. i use it as client.

any help would be appriciated...

OScam by itself doesn't decode anything UNTIL you provide the correct readers for your card or homesharing...
Met één been in het graf..... Helaas

After having replaced some files you must restart Oscam.


Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.

Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. ;) :)
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.

Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

Hello! Abertis (30.0W) not working properly. Sometimes streams open and play for a while but for the most time they don't and enigma2 GUI keeps restartimg...

On OpenATV/OpenViX they play without problems.

For specific private Oscam related issues you might best consult Streamboard.

Our default Oscam configfiles work ok for some cards. Oscam can never work properly for all cards. And we can’t guess what might go wrong in your config.

Hi! Today, suddenly i came accros a problem which i hadn't noticed . When i try to stream a 1920x1080 channel via OpenWebif to my pc with vlc or other media player the stream stops after a while and enigma2 restarts.
With 720p channels it seems to be O.K. I have to mention that i use ethernet and not wifi connection.

If you can reproduce it, please restart Enigma in debug mode, then start a stream, and after it restarts, attach the debuglog file from /home/root here (please zip it first).

I have tried to connect together pc and SF8008 via a lan cable and stream again, but ... the same problem. I tested in openATV as well and there is no problem.

I really can't understand it!

Try OpenViX which is closer to OpenPli code-wise, if it works then it should be easier to fix

install plugin transcodingsetup From the list of systemplugins and restart the receiver

Then repeat the experiment again
