When I load a list and then scan, the results after scanning come up with a low signal so the channels will not work. I tried scanning Bev 91(N.A.) by leaving one channel in list. The channel works before scanning but nothing after cause of low SNR.
What am I doing wrong?

Low SNR =

1. Dish not aligned to the satellite properly - see the wikipedia pages here >>E1Satfind<<
2. LNB setting is wrong (most likely the cause on Bev) see this wikipedia page >> E1Multi <<

With a downloaded service list for Bev 91, Dish 110and 119 my Dreambox works with Pli.
Its when I try to scan with the NEW Jade that my channels picked up by my scan will not work cause it shows low SNR. The SNR is great before I scan.
I am confused......

I think there is a scanning problem with latest update of Jade. Scanning with uk cables.xml. This version scans fine pli-jade-dm500-20080718-5335, latest version scans to a halt after 555mhz.

I loaded another service list with just one channel from the satellite I wanted to scan and it WORKED!!
I repeated this for Dish 110,119 and Bev 91 and got AWESOME results.
Thanks to all who helped and to Pli Team!!

Hi EMMA, where did you get the service list from?

I know my signal is good enough (for another different receiver), but with new Pli I am getting no lock and low SNR and no services (on 119). I hope it isn't a bad tuner in a clone, but your experience gives me hope.

Chaz, is the lof/h set to 11250 for the NA circular providers (DN/Bev)?
