Hello, I am trying to install OpenPLI 7.3 on dreambox 920. It will not accept the .rar file, sorry for the obvious question but is there any file I can download that will work to flash the dm920? Thanks, P

There is no OpenPLi for a dreambox 920, we never made one.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I'm on OpenPLI 7.1-Release (2019-09-09) ... on an OSMini ..

I just checked the SW-Updater and there is no 'Alert' anymore that I should not use the online update.

Is it now reasonably safe to update via the updater?

Thank you

It won’t harm to create a backup of the present configuration. If you haven’t installed any plugins outside our feed you can perform an online flash, and with a proper backup you will be up and running within about 5 minutes. If you have installed plugins from outside our feed they will not be restored when you performed a fresh flash so you will have to instal and configure those plugins again. In that case it might be better to update the image. As we can’t / don’t test every possibility regarding external plugins all action is at your own risk.

I doubt that will work, as I recall the issue was in 7.1.

If you make a backup first, you can always flash if the update fails.

Hello.

After update 7.2 -> 7.3   4 digit display on Formuler F3 dont show channel number or remaining time in mediaplayer. In standbay mode show only Day (previous Time)

I edited file /usr/share/enigma2/display/skin_default/skin_display.xml , but dont any changes.

Please, fix it

.. much appreciated.

I have no plugins from outside the feed but am happy to do a new install via 'image' if all fails.

The only backup I would need are my bouquets/satellites.

Would 'Autobackup' handle that?

Yes. It also backups your settings, tuner configuration, etc.

Another observation regarding the endless spinner problem, It takes time.

After a boot I can switch back and forth and there is no problem but if I wait a couple of minutes (10 or more) and then switch, I get the spinner.

And that's also why I was not able to reproduce the problem.

So my actual workaround is a reboot, then I can switch between local and streamed channels.

Do you configure both device to point to the same "share" and mounted both on each box under /media/hdd?

Where do you configure to save your epg.dat file?

Is that by any mischance both boxes are defined to point to the same file?

Yes and no - both devices point to the same share but only the Zero4k has it mounted as /media/hdd, the Ultimo4k has it mounted differently and it has a physical HDD mounted as /media/hdd

epg.dat is saved to (their) flash on both.

I hope not ...

Afaik the Duo2 doesn't have any built-in wifi. So which wifi device do you use, and did you install the drivers for it?
