On my Vu+ Solo2 now I have the same problem like on OpenATV 6.4, OpenViX 5.4 with scanning 4.8E and 0.8W. Example 12322 V and 12360 V.

 

On OpenPLi 7.3 after full scan 4.8E, Animal Planet Europe - 12322, Animal Planet Poland HD - 12360

 

 

On OpenPLi 8.0 RC after full scan 4.8E, Animal Planet Europe - 12322, Animal Planet Poland HD - 12322


Manual scanning 12360, now Animal Planet Europe - 12360 and Animal Planet Poland HD - 12360... the same on 0.8W.

 

It looks like the problem appeared after this patch:

In tuner configuration - Extra motor options stays always off, altough it is activated and saved.

 I would really appreciate if somebody try installation of Kodi, Chromium and Youtube TV on Ultimo 4K. When i try to start them i get black screen for 2-3 seconds and then return to last viewed channel. I believe some packages are missing and not installed during the installation, leading to those plugins not starting at all. I've tried fresh installation of OpenPLi 8rc, and the plugins were installed from the feed.

 I would really appreciate if somebody try installation of Kodi, Chromium and Youtube TV on Ultimo 4K. Just tested on same receiver PLi 7.3. Kodi installation is OK and running properly, so definatelly something is missing in PLi 8.0 for Ultimo 4K.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I successfully installed Kodi on my SOLO 4K device, but when I pressed the login icon, it does not enter and exit at the same moment.
Please Help.

On the Zgemma H7S, after a few minutes of watching, the image on the 4K channel freezes, while on the PurE2 it works without any problems.

Unfortunately, external subtitles in Bulgarian and other languages ​​are not displayed when watching online movies with Elementum. A quick test with another device (as well as with the same - Mutant HD60 with Open ATV and Kodi 18.6) with the same settings showed that there are no problems. I noticed that the subtitles are downloaded in different places compared to 18.6 in Open ATV (the location of the Kodi directories is also different) , but even after manually specifying the path to them - they are not displayed and not in list. The same problem was in OpenPli 7.2 and 7.3 with the old Kodi 17.6. If a developer needs additional information or logs I will provide it to solve this annoying problem. Thanks in advance.

As I wrote in the previous post. VU + Uno 4K SE tuner. On OpenPLi 8.0 RC the signal is lowered by 15% compared to OpenPLi 7.3.

As Dimitrij already requested 'what type of S2 tuner is used by this box?'. There might be a difference in the tuner that is placed in that box.


Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.

Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. ;) :)
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.

Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

As far as I know, the last correction for the FBC VU+ DVB-S was done by the ims. And I think that now these are the correct values.

Ok. On Vu + Solo2 the values ​​are also overestimated, because they show the same as on OpenPLi 7.3. And if you can specify the location of this file, I will replace it from version 7.3. Best regards

OPenPli 8.0 , Kodi installed Netflix installed and Netflix and  HBO etc are working fine except Audio .
