Is there any news regarding DVB subtitles in Pli Image?
Recently here situation is very uncomfortable because missing subtitles!
So i would like to know is there nay news about it?

Well the problem is kind of strange........On certain channels subtitle are missing! In audio screen it show there is available subtitles but when i pick them they not show up!
Sometimes the show up and then stop again! The problem is in Discovery channel from Eutelsat package (16E) and National geographic from ITV package (16E) When i can watch subtitles on National geographic, subtitles in Discovery are gone!!! And when there is on discovery in NGC are gone! I was contact the Satelite operator that care for broadcasting of subtitles of that 2 channels and the answer from there is that subtitles are OK and the problem is in my software! When i try nabilo 0.8 software subtitle working on both channels with no problem! Also with different receiver subtitles are also OK! So the problem must be in a software! (with gSUB 1.08 subtitles are also OK but gSUB often stop or hang)! That is my current problem with subtitles!

I'm using the Pli Maxvar image on DM500 and the services of the same provider (ITV Partner) in BG. Up till now (2 weeks) I had no problems with the subtitles of the channels mentioned. I believe a re-flash of the image can solve the problem.

I was try many reflashes and so on! But no use! NO subtitles!!!!! Now on National geographic is no subtitles! No seribian or croatian subtitles too! In THE MOMENT no SUBTITLES!
On nabilo 0.8 image subtitles is working!!! The probles is not a reflash! And please check now the nAtional geographic channel! Now NO subtitles!!!

At the moment a documentary with BG audio is running so I could not check out the subtitles. However, I hope the developers will offer you solution to your problem.

Check the Serbian subtitles!!! And do you use gSUB?! If you use turn it off and then pick the serbian subtitles!

Yes i am referring this service! In the moment no subtitles at all! Not Bulgarian nor Serbian nor Croatian!!! I say in the moment! Because usually they show up later and at discovery channel disappear! Its not satellite provider problem because on my other DB500 with Nabilo 0.8 no problems with subtitles! Thanks!

we dont help users via pm's, there is our forum for so the solutions in the topic could help others also!
we have enough (international) testers for our images

The problem is also in the CVS images and I don't have a lot of time to fix it. Also, I don't have the 16e satellite to test.
As the bug is in CVS too, you could post it on the Dream forum.

Hi so you also have same problem? At least there is a chance to be fixed in CVS becasue not only people from my country have it!
If you get reply from Dream people can you write here what they answered?

BTW , those channels are using NDS

since 1.5 year am waiting for fix ! nothing new ...
did u test these subtitles with other dream STB's?
