If you have enable the forward volume key in HDMI-CEC setup screen this doesn't work with TV. It only works if you have a AV amplifier connected to your Vu+. So disable this option or totally turn off HDMI-CEC to test. What can also happens is another device which is sending infrared that interfered with your volume key, this can came from some lighting system. So may be try your Vu+ in another room or at somebody else.

Interesting but not possible since the volume key works, but works badly, and when I use the same universal remotes on the TV, it works without problem.

This behavior is really weird

I use this remote since a long time, and i did the test with 2 unversal remotes (the same) and with the vu+ one.

I don't like the boot logo picture that show at startup a bosom with blood in Openpli 8.1

i replaced it with an other picture but it come back when i made upgrade Openpli.

Il n'y a pas de forum en FR ici donc vous devez utiliser l'anglais et suptv est un fournisseur totalement illégal donc on ne discute pas de cela ici.

Hey guys on latest image 8.1 with updated software from the 19th Dec.  Every since the last update my quarter pounder app is unable to unfreeze the channel.  Has something changed on the software to cause this?  I have to change channel and back for it start working again.  Up until the last update the quarter pounder app used to restart the channel itself after a few seconds.  Can you please look into this?

Just bought my Dreambox Two recently...

Should I load new OpenPli 8.1 on this receiver?

I put OpenPli 8.0 and experienced quite often crashlogs while

programming lists of satellites with their programs....

There is no OpenPLi for any dreambox but the DM8000. Anything out there isn't make by us.

OK,I loaded OpenPli 8.1 onto my old Dreambox 8000HD.

After the flash and reboot finished, I went to "Information" , "About" and then I am experiencing crash for a couple of times..

I think that is already fixed in the current develop, so you might want to try a nighly build to verify.

 

The 8000 doesn't have HDMI, therefore also no support for HDMICEC.
