just installed my new dm500s cant communicate via serial to pc, using null cable

cant toggle serial connection at dreambox menu does not seem to cover this.

should i be able to see uncrypted pixs. dish set up ok was using humax box ok

jade pli installed.

can any one help iam new at this

OK I think this is a local issue (you the user) as you posted this in the Dutch DM7000 section not the the English DM500 section (smile) so maybe you have problems also, with serial cables ie. not using a null modem cable and assuming the box magically decodes foxtel, sbs, aurora etc
