Hello
i use an dreambox 500s with latest PLI image, and i use only 2 satellite (not cable or terrestrial)
The files /share/tuxbox/satellite.xml and /share/tuxbox/terrestrial.xml are taking 800 ko...
So i would want to clean thoses files to let only (in satellite.xml) the satellites i use (astra/hotbird)
i have tried to modify them whith an ftp software, and with Dcc, but it seem thoses files are locked...

With my old Gemini, i was cleaning unused satellites in the Satellite Menu, but in pli, the satellite menu, is very very slow to clean... each time i remove an satellite i need to wait 30 sec for the menu refresh, ...
Can someone help please

Thankyou

Ced

the share directory on the 500 is read only, you can download the file edit it and put it back in the var directory

as the filesystem is compressed sat.xml only takes around 35k and not 800k!

on the Glassfibre 1GB DVB-C...
