HDMI-CEC still doesn't work properly on Ultimo 4K with same remarks from my previous post #282.

Please test HDMI-CEC after new build.

 

For me, TV turn to standby when putting the box to standby, but TV doesn't wake up (before and after the Enigma2 changes BTW).

Tested with gbtrio4k.

After rebuild with bbappend (without inherit upx) and force re-install dbus-1, dbus-common and dbus-tools, still error.

Black screen for a few seconds, that's it.

 

More a of problem?

But you can see that the DBus still doesn't work.
Maybe you have an idea how to debug this interface.

My kodi19.2 installation has same "DBus error: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown" in the log, however I did not discover any degradation caused by this error. Kodi seems to work correctly.

I build for Zgemma h9combo (see signature )
But my point was to mention that Kodi seems to work correct despite of the error.

And you're the first to say it works.
I'd love to hear it works, but I'm confused.

I'm running out of ideas regarding Kodi, hence the question and the request for a more detailed answer...

If I look at the kodi.log (see a few messages backwards) the cause of Kodi not starting is this:

So you build or use the py3 Branch image as Kodi says and does it currently work with the Zgemma h9combo?

Then I would be a huge step further.
So far I have no positive feedback.
Unfortunately, I don't have my own box myself and can therefore only adjust things blindly.

But if a version runs on any box, it would really help a lot.

I do not build OpenPli or OA branches.
I have own local environment.
For h9combo I implemented Kodi. Starting point for that was OA.
What box do you exactly have and what box you are building Kodi for?

Ok, then I am reassured and must continue to search.

Your build based on OA should not be directly compared to Pli.
We're talking about the py3 pli branch here, which is experimental.
Unfortunately not yet with the desired integrated Kodi.

The results of your image cannot be transferred to our image in this way.
The errors in the logs are known to me and us.
The question is rather why the existing patches don't work.
So the search was now starting from the beginning for me.

In the end, it helps to know that DBus errors don't seem that important.

The Dbus error is not the reason Kodi abort starting up. The lack of a windowing system is.

I see some code reallocation in the py3 pli branch, but in the end the idea is the same.

Because of the code reallocation it seems things are missing now, or you put it on a place where I cannot find it.

I could not find where the libgles-${MACHINE}" is fulfilled.

Another question: Where is the "WITH_PLATFORM="  declaration located now?

Hi,can any friend help me with the new  openpli-pyt3 Octagon Sf 8008 image, I can´t get  the Emu CCcam to work, what could be wrong, I donlowd the server from  the image itself in Oscam , all right.

I test the Python3 version on my Mutant HD2400. There are already some plugins that I use. I want to use the plugin VCS. I can install it, but after a restart there is an error message. The '.pyc' are generated in the VCS folder. Here 2 snapshots. I hope that the plugin will be adapted to Python3 because I use VCS very often.
