HDMI-CEC is not working correctly on Ultimo4K. Switching off the TV when you put the receiver in standby mode is working just once (first time). Afterwards, only the receiver is going to standby and TV remains ON. If you select "Set Fixed" in the HDMI-CEC menu, then the receiver will put the TV in standby, but again only once... With same settings in HDMI-CEC menu on OpenPLi8.1 and Nightly builds, there are no issues. Tried several times flashing the last two pyton3 releases with and without backup with same result.

HDMI-CEC is a 'special' thing... it works when you're lucky and it also depends on deviations on the firmware from your receiver and/or TV.... when one of those do not speak the right HDMI-CED 'accent' unexpected things do happen... The big question? is it OpenPLi-related.... I think at least is should not be py3 related or do you experience it on the py3 image only?

I experience it on the python3 image only. As i said in my previous post, there is no issue on OpenPLi8.1 and Nightly builds with same equipment and settings.

Hdmi-Cec  works as before in a python 3 image, but the code for both the hdmicec python module(s) and hdmicec C++ driver need modifications that are not in the current OpenPli python 3 image.

I had exactly the same issue with the remote control not functioning on the openpli-python3-ustym4kpro-20220414_multiboot image

The web interface could be used to control the receiver but the remote control didn't function at all.

Only Hisi Front Panel Button Controls was shown in input devices with no reference to a remote control.

can you also test the develop image?
The driver has been updated with regard to RCU handling.
Obviously there is a problem

I've flashed the develop image openpli-develop-ustym4kpro-20220415_multiboot.zip  which appears to have the same issue with the remote control not responding.

The web interface can be used to control the receiver but the RCU doesn't function.

The remote control works fine in the stable release openpli-8.1-release-ustym4kpro-20220410_multiboot.zip

Ok, then it's actually a bug in the new RCU driver.

Yes, the drivers work with OpenATV.
But here the drivers were changed again (hashtag chksum).
Feedback here is that the RCU is not working.
Maybe you can also briefly test the develop/py3 image pli from 1404.

It cannot have been a recovery that is described as the error already occurs in the setup wizard.

just for info,
today i updated uclan 4k with openpli py3 test and the remote no longer works.
I have updated the development and the situation itself.
I rebooted to another openatv 7.0 slot and the remote works.
If possible check .....

I’m afraid that in the last Uclan update there was a change regarding the RC. A new one should have been added and not replaced. I’ll check later tomorrow if I have the time.

Is it possible to upgrade already?
With what telnet command?

When I choose py 3 multiboot from Multiboot image selector (GUI), lets say from 8,1, it won't reboot and the display on the Uclan says "ult", can't access it with telnet and only the power switch gives a boot, then I can login with telnet.
