Hi I want to buy a new STB but do not know which one...

I want a 4K twin tuner and need to have one that does play iptv well.

Will a "VU+ Uno 4K SE DVB FBC Twin Tuner" do?

or do you have any other good suggestions?

tnx

In terms of codec support a Hisilicon box is better than a Broadcom box. And the Uno 4K is an 8 tuner FBC box, which will be overkill for your requirements.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

For IPTV you don’t need a box at all.. Just get one of the 1000 mediaplayers offered on the internet, yank in your ‘line’ and ready….

They both roll out of some chinese factory.  The outside of the Octagon looks a bit better, but that doesn't say much about quality.

Apart from VU+ Duo power supply issues I've never had a failing box.
