It only has support for these models:

./conf/machine/vuduo4k.conf:PREFERRED_VERSION_hmp-usb-dvb-t2-c-arm = "V160430"
./conf/machine/vuduo4kse.conf:PREFERRED_VERSION_hmp-usb-dvb-t2-c-arm = "V160430"
./conf/machine/vuuno4kse.conf:PREFERRED_VERSION_hmp-usb-dvb-t2-c-arm = "V160430"
./conf/machine/vuzero4k.conf:PREFERRED_VERSION_hmp-usb-dvb-t2-c-arm = "V160430"

which sort of makes sense, given these boxes run a 4.1.20 kernel, not the old 3.14 one.

I'll try to find some time to port them...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

That's the control file from the ipk, looks like indeed built from those recipies.

And it runs great, ATM I'm recording on one tuner and watching on the other.

The only nuisance I have noticed is, it does shows SNR 0% but as long as it works I don't really care :-)

You could try to enable "force legacy signal stats" in de tuner configuration, perhaps it doesn't support the DVB API v5, it is a driver from 2016.

I've asked Neo to look into porting the drivers.

It would be great, if the driver could make it into the feed :-)

I've asked Neo to look into porting the drivers.

Thanks ;).

It is a bit of a challenge, their custom driver conflicts with the linux kernel driver.

Hmm... I have to double check, I was sure that kernel module was present in the ipk... Could be a missing dependency definition.

Did you try this on a newly flashed box? Or could there be some leftovers from your previous testing present?

The one you found defines:

Depends: kernel-module-dvb-usb-dvbsky, kernel-module-dvbsky-m88rs6000, kernel-module-dvbsky-m88ds3103, kernel-module-sit2fe, kernel-module-dvb-usb-v2-media-tree
Provides: kernel-module-dvb-usb-dvbsky, kernel-module-dvbsky-m88rs6000, kernel-module-dvbsky-m88ds3103, kernel-module-sit2fe, kernel-module-dvb-usb-v2-media-tree

Mine defines:

Depends: kernel-module-dvb-usb-dvbsky-4.1.20-1.9, kernel-module-dvb-usb-v2-media-tree-4.1.20-1.9, kernel-module-dvbsky-m88ds3103-4.1.20-1.9, kernel-module-dvbsky-m88rs6000-4.1.20-1.9, kernel-module-sit2fe-4.1.20-1.9
Provides: kernel-module-dvb-usb-dvbsky, kernel-module-dvb-usb-v2-media-tree, kernel-module-dvbsky-m88ds3103, kernel-module-dvbsky-m88rs6000, kernel-module-sit2fe

I guess I have to figure out why those kernel versions are there.

I'll ask him to build a test image for the Zero 4K, so I can test using mine.

I tried at least the modules (files) from the package made by neo, replacing the original VTI files.

It works :-)

Is for newer Linux kernels, for the Solo2 (Kernel 3.3.8) you need the older Turbo USB.

Vu+ DUO 4K - 1x FBC DUAL DVB-S2X v2 tuner + 1x VU+ FBC DVB-C v2 tuner + 1 x Hauppauge Dual Tuner USB DVB-C / DVB-T  --  Vu+ Ultimo 4K - 2x FBC DUAL DVB-S2X v2 tuner + 1 x VU+ DVB-C/T/T2 DUAL (TWIN) tuner + 1 x VU+ Turbo USB DVB-C/T2 Hybrid Tuner -- 2 x Triple LNB  :)
