I have never seen this in a standard skin before, but I just realized that the logos are also projected smaller there...I'll try another skin package, at the moment I use the snp-full.100x60-86x46

What is the original resolution for that picon?

In skin it renders 227x130. I tried it with picons with size 400x240 and it looks fine to me. But maybe it doesnt look nice with smaller resolution picons.

 

Also i have a question regarding the channel number. On your screenshot it shous --- as channel number. Is that channel from Bouquet or not. And is the skin renders channel numbers at all?

I suggest using 400x240. Larger at size of the package but looks much nicer.

About the GraphicalMultiEPG, is it easy to change the colors from the bars? I (personally) don't like the color and prefer green instead....

If so then you have to change the colors in skin.xml GraphMultiEPG screen

here you have to change the EntryXXXXXXX colors to what you like.

What do you mean? The colours are set in the skin. If the user doesn't like the standard colours he can change them in skin.xml.

When Tech does not like it he has a good reason .... I think we should avoid having 'own' creations as much as possible. And this is exactly the challenge with skins.

 

I think we need a skin refreshment with a more modern look and feeling...The current skin is already in use for more than 10 years!!!!!

 

I think that this skin is a good candidate.

I think it's a very nice skin and have been using it for a while now, the only thing I didn't like was the color used in the GraficMultiEPG.

 

That's all personal because in itself it is a nice calm-looking skin.

An excellent candidate and I have already it added to the feeds, the fact that it is not a 'Christmas tree skin' in particular, appeals to me, it just fits in with the PLi idea

If that is the case then all the changes i made into core enigma code have to be accepted

I'm not the only one who need to go for such call... so be patience here as this was just my meaning.

To get everything in the code accepted might of course be challenging as 'we are OpenPLi'.... and you know this causes 'forks' in the past years. We simply do not 'blindly' accept everything as we want to keep the already spaghetti style engima2 code as clean as possible. So e.g. for the info/menu button hooks I had a 'red flag' in the first place. This one was easily covered by the comment from Huevos. But this is not always the case. At least I strive not to 'mask-out' issues (work-a-round it), but I prefer to 'resolve' the core of the issues.... and that is most time not the easiest task... Where for some a work-a-round is problem solved, this is not valid here....

The core enigma2 changes i am referring is not workarounds mainly, but fixes for missing capabilities for GUI elements used. So i dont think there will be much "red flags"

Do you have a patch available with all the adjustments?

 

I can run the patch on my local environment and watch to see what impact it ultimately has....
