Well there are limits.... But making screen bigger will leave much empty space in content only because of the buttons in my opinion

I fully agree, apart of the used colors in the GMEPG.

The colors that you use in the GMEPG plugin are much to bland. At least in my opinion.
As far as I’ve tested I really like the skin.
Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

for the look of the GMEPG are the png bars responsible, they are (were) usually in skin_name/epg and are named
CurrentEvent.png
CurrentService.png
OtherEvent.png
RecordingEvent.png
SelectedEvent.png
they are in DarkOs in different place and (or) named different

possible solution, make the subdirectory epg and put those .pngs there, you can take them from PLinightly skin

that doesn´t come from the skin but enigma2, it can´t just remember the channel number used before, you were probably in "all channels", did something and went back

I know about channel number issue... Unfortunately it fails to display channel numbers in PLi only.....

When Menu is pressed on the RCU, some receivers have the box name (Vu Duo 4K) and others (Uclan Ustym 4K Pro, Vu Uno 4K SE) have E2DarkOS above the Menu messagebox

As far I can see in the code the service ref is rebuild once from scratch. Then you cannot have the channel number. You have to keep the orriginal. Maybe other images slow stuff down to rescan for the number within a bouquet again.

Where is that? I am pretty sure i kept the original code for getting channel number.
here is the original code in the converter that is used in 9.0 release

This seems to be a box logo image, imho a bad and unneeded thing that shouldn't be part of an otherwise clean skin.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

The majority? There are a handful of logo's in the logo directory, while we build for 110+ different boxes.
But I'd say remove it, don't secretly attempt to make it a christmas tree again...

Dont give such a qualifications as "bad" and "unneeded". I have decided to include it and it is there. Some people like it some not. For some people is good thing. For others not. Its purely subjective. People that not want it or not like it should not use the skin
