As far as I can see, that repo isn't (directly) used, the blindscan utils come from https://github.com/e...blindscan-utils, from where a zip is fetched.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

It would be possible to update it via patch.
But is the tuning error really due to the blind scan?

mh...
Ok
https://github.com/o...-osmio4k.bb#L17
vs
https://github.com/o...-osmio4k.bb#L17

and differnet sha checksum.

So OE-Alliance actually has a different driver. We can also switch to the source.

As I understand it, it also doesn't work in ATV 7.x.

Ok, I misunderstood that at first.

Is it the blinscan that is causing the error?
Shouldn't you look for the error in the driver?

Both sources are available

Jamo1700

1)When go another service/satttelite same messsage "Tune failed"?

2)When not use standby all switch services work?

When I get the message "Tune failed" nothing work on tuner A (DVB-S2X). I can change channels, transponders or satellites, all have “Tune failed”. If I go to tuner B (DVB-T2) it works OK. I have to restart the receiver when I get the message “Tune failed”. Switching OFF/ON on the remote control or restarting just Enigma doesn't resolve the problem.

Same problem with ATV 7X. Only the old version ATV 6X works.

I think is a driver error.

Yesterday I made this test:

Fresh installation of OPENPLI 9.0. I made a manual scan just of CH 27 (DVB-T) and DVB-S2X 9°E 12466V 16APSK 419502/3 PLS Gold 262140 Multistream Stream 12. The transponder data were in the image. Then I switched OFF the receiver with remote control and after 30 minutes I switched ON the receiver with remote control and I got the same message “Tune failed” There were no channel list installed, no picons, no plugin, no internet connection, no nothing. Everything was set by default in settings.

What should I do?

There are several ways to approach it.
We have an open source here and could recompile the driver.
But defining the error precisely is certainly not easy.
I doubt whether the old driver will still work in the new kernel after a kernel update.
Of course you could try it too.

Please, write me how to change (tu put) a new driver in my receiver. I have Putty, but the only thing I "put" in the receiver manualy was multistalker. Plugins, picons, ... I used the receiver menu.

Only the manufacturer of these receivers can correct this error, if at all possible. So don't expect any help here.

And the link you attached? Is a new (different) tuner driver? If yes, please write me how to install it.

Oh well...
For anyone who builds images as a hobby (like us here), something like this is interesting.
Some people might be interested in making such an update.
But it's a 'free flight' for everyone who doesn't have the tuner or the receiver.

Unfortunately, we cannot view the history of the driver in Edision's git.

Maybe athoik knows more.

Overall, you don't know whether the driver is actually the problem or whether the implementation of Python itself is causing the problem.

A neutrino image might be worth a reference test.

If there is some driver issue, it affects all other images using the same driver.

But I don't understand why do you need to wait 20-30 minutes for the problem to appear?

Does anyone else have the same problem? For example wet or loose F-connector can cause strange problems.

It's also possible to test driver from github, build instructions are there.

OK for me, I can make all tests you write to make. Just write me where can I get neutrino image and I will install and check it.

Do you understand how to use telnet?
Do you understand and know how to make changes to system files in your receiver?
Can you recover the receiver if it gets stuck in Boot or if it gets stuck in a Boot Loop?

I suggest you stop looking for solutions that you have to install in the receiver's files If your answer is No to any of these questions.
