I recently bought WeTek play with DVB-S2 to replace my aging free-to-air(FTA) box.

I run the latest image of openpli from a micro sd card on WeTek play. I have one Ku-band and one C-band dish.

I am pointing to Intelsat 20 68.5E on the Ku-band dish and the openpli recognises the dish and scans the channels. The problem however is that I only pick up the encrypted channels and NOT the FTA channels. On the aging FTA satellite receiver I pick up all the FTA channels that I want.

I have looked at both the satellites.xml files under /etc and /etc/tuxbox and they both have the transponder information on which the FTA channels are broadcast.

I need some help. What else do I need to check so that I pick up the FTA channels on openpli?

PS. I tried latest openspa image on the micro sd card with no FTA channels as well.
