I flashed my box with new bootloader and latest PLi a few days ago, and it's been working fine for a few days now, but today it's not starting anymore.

Box was working fine yesterday until Power was removed yesterday, and put back on today.
Hdd is spinning
Measured +12V and +5V

But all that happens is the red diode in the corner illuminates, and also reacts to remote. Box is still dead.

Have tried to remove HDD, remove card and inserted USB with new bootloader.


Any tips anyone? I know it's not a PLi-problem, but here's plenty of members with the same box, so I'll try my luck anyway.

Just installed the latest build and found a problem I've never seen before.

Using only one head connected to tunerA I have tuner B in loopthrough to tunerA. (Vu duo)

I started a recording on TV 2 Zebra and switched to TV 2 Nyhetskanalen (Norwegian channels). After a few minutes the tuner changed channel by itself, to TV Norge. I switched back and again after a few minutes it changed to some cartoon channel, and again the third time to Voice (witch shouldn't be possible).

After that, TV 2 Nyhetskanalen wasn't accessable.until recording was stopped. When starting a new recording on same channel, TV 2Nyhetskanalen wasn't accessable at all, even if it's not greyed out in channel selection list, and I don't get No available tuner-message.

Did a complete channelsearch after flashing image, but I've used the same bouquet I had from PLi 2.0, with just minor changes. Do I have to make a fresh one, or update some sattelite file before doing a channel search?

Switching mute on or off while playback of a recording is in pause doesn't work. Mute-symbol is switching on and off, but has no affect on sound when pressing play agian.

Using latest PLi build on Vu Duo, but was the same on builds from last summer.

Sometimes when I put my box in standby over night I find it locked (need to cut power) the next morning.
It's not that often, maybe 3-4 times a month, but it's still annoying.

When it happens I can hear the HDD still spinning, and the heat tells me it's been spinning all night.

I'm using
WD green 750GB with 512byte sectors.
PLi Jun 11 2011 - but have had same problem with all earlier versions that I have kept for more than a few days.

Anyone having similar problems or solutions for it?
