Hi Willy,
I did the comparison of rytec.channels.xml with all the services downloaded from Vhannibal site (45w to 75E).
Comparison was based on service ID.
Attached is the comparison file in excel format, matched services are marked green.
As you can see there are lot of gaps. Seems like channels are there in rytec.channels.xml file but Service ID’s has not been updated.
Is there a way to update the rytec.channels.xml file with all the correct service ID’s without going through each channel manually?
Thanks
Gari
NOTE: I am not allowed to attach excel file , any other way I can attach the file or send.

Yopu should have noticed that the /tmp/ path is not hardcoded at all. It picks the best spot with enough free space. If it picks /tmp/, that means you have plenty free RAM. You should start to worry when it does not pick /tmp/, because that would mean that you already ran out of memory even before you started importing data.I have even managed to set the temporary import path to /media/hdd by editing the epgimport.py file..!
Yes, I did notice that, it was list of preferences with /tmp being the first one.
