I am tired in creating not accepted pull-requests - being it here or anywhere else.
So as always the finger pointing does not help - no one...
At least we are flexible enough to adapt and do not have to wait ages for upstream fixes.

Wenn es Treiber oder Kernel bezogene Probleme sind, dann kann openPli auch nicht hexen und etwas besser machen als andere - die Grundlage für den build ist für alle gleich.
Wenn Dir natürlich die anderen Images nicht zusagen - gut jeder hat seine Präferenzen.
Weniger oder mehr Probleme hast Du was die Hardware angeht mit openPli aber auch nicht - das kann ich dir vorab schon sagen.

Enigma2 is build "complete" including all subfolders.
So also enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-skinselector gets the updated commit-hash - even if it has not changed.

your mentioned 0001-enable-hbbtv-for-all-boxes.patch simply adds subdir HbbTV from oe-alliance-plugins in makefile of oe-alliance-plugins.
-SUBDIRS = Blindscan...
+SUBDIRS = HbbTV Blindscan...
not much voodoo there.

Sorry - thats simply nonsense. Maybe we are simply a little more agile and do not create a discussion about every change.This is probably because "other" images just install everything but the kitchen sink by default, while we prefer a small and lean image, so we only install by default what the package dependencies specify.
We just added the new depend to our openwebif bitbake recipe and all is fine.
