De Ocatgon rolt van dezelfde band als de MaxDigital, maar is op details wat anders (display dacht ik).  Maar er is geen OpenPLi support voor de Octagon.

There is no firewall component in OpenPLi.

In our point of view, you should NEVER connect an STB to an unsafe network, like the internet. Use a dedidated firewall, or a home router with built-in firewall features. Dropbear is an SSH server component, a replacement for OpenSSH. It does not protect your box from attacks!

Having said that, there is an OpenEmbedded layer for iptables, so if you're capable of compiling an image from source, you should be able to add iptables to the image yourself.

Dan is er via package management (opkg) een update geweest van het CCcam package, of er is een backup teruggezet na een flash en voordat CCcam werd geinstalleerd.

opkg detecteert dan dat er reeds een CCcam.cfg bestaat, en zal deze niet overschrijven, maar de nieuwe ernaast zetten met een "-opkg" extensie. Die doet verder niks, en staat niet in de weg.

De laatste XP image online is die van de 17e.

Ik mis verder nog de DM8000, DM7020HD, DM800SE, DM500HD, dus wat dat betreft heb je gelijk.

The vendor logo is not in the image, so flashing an image doesn't help (unless it has specific code to replace it, like VIX).

Xtrend has removed flashing the vendor logo from the bootloader, leaving you with the problem of a third-party logo.
