What is the error? you also need the rest modules and firmware files from feed, I only uploaded the changed modules.

Other ipk files should be the same from feed. Which ipk's does it require?

I just tested my built modules, they can't be installed because of some error in md5 (maybe they conflict with the files from the feed). Don't know if they can be forced installed by a command line parameter to opkg.

Anyway, I tested patched smsdvb driver and it works, no problem with 0 MHz reported. I will also test tomorrow with a sinovideo dvb-t stick (af9015, tda18218) and if it also works I'll upload all the patches. With those, all major dvb-t sticks will be working in OpenPLI!

Hi malakudi:

I tested your smsdvb.ko patched with my Hauppauge WinTV MiniStick and it works perfect, thanks.

We need load the smsmdtv, smsdvb and smsusb modules.

I used this firmware.

Great work.

yesterday evening I tried to make my Volar Black HD (A850) to work but I only get the same I2C error messages. So the question is: for the volar black i need to load the other modules like the other AF9015 based tuners? (I did load all of them yesterday plus the tda18218).

thank you

First update firmware files with new ones (posted in development section).

Then, if it still doesn't work, do the following.

remove file *af9015* from /etc/modutils
run update-modules
reboot
after reboot, run:
modprobe dvb-usb-af9015
dmesg

and paste the last lines of output from dmesg command.

I think that with latest drivers and latest firmware your stick will work. If it doesn't, please send the above mentioned information to look it again.

I've sent you pm, please try loading dvb-usb-af9015 with option remote=-1 and report back.

It seems there is a problem initialising the part of the driver that created the IR input class, thus breaking the driver completely. modprobe the driver with option remote=-1 still doesn't help. Blackhole drivers have disabled IR support completely, I am preparing a similar patch to the source and I hope this time it will work, please wait a couple of days.

I will post patched module to test soon.
