I'm trying to install an AVLABS AVL680HD DVB-T. I'm getting the following error:

How did you try to install it?

you need to install other dvb-usb modules (containing those missing symbols) as well.

Which modules are they?

usually the prefix of the missing symbols gives a hint about which module might provide them.
Check with 'opkg list v4l-*'

i tried to install dib0700 nova-t stick manually but iam getting errors when trying to install these modules:

opkg install v4l-dvb-module-dvb-usb-dib0700
opkg install v4l-dvb-module-dvb-usb-dibusb-common
opkg install v4l-dvb-module-dvb-usb-dibusb-mb
opkg install v4l-dvb-module-dvb-usb-dibusb-mc

I get FATAL: ...... not found

What is wrong here?

Stick works OK btw.

it tries to load before depmod has run, that causes this error. Just ignore it.

MiniStick has SMSUSB chipset. Instructions havent been posted here yet. Maybe malakudi or pieterg can help here.
This stich should work ok, as far as i know.

the settings are always the same wheter automatic or manual scan.

what i tried to say: i use the manual search to "tune" in on a specific transponder. zapping does not "tune" me in. thats why i always have to do a manual search on the transponder i want to watch (every time!, not just once).

I have the same problem with an hauppage ministick (smsusb) : scan is working, but when I switch into channels, my vu duo says "tune failed"...
did you find any working solution?

- extract the usbtunerdpanel_0.2.zip package
- transfer *.ipk file to dm800 /tmp - folder
- install plugin (newnigma2 -> manage additional software -> offline installer or
opkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-usbtunerdpanel_0.2_all.ipk)
- goto plugin menu and open UsbTunerdPanel - plugin
--> (Red) Exit: close plugin
--> (Green) Check: looking for USB devices
--> (Blue) Install: trying to install tuner
--> (Blue) Remove: trying to remove tuner
--> (Yellow) Credits

interesting plugin because it also supports af9015 but you dont need it if you have nova-t stick.
