Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Is it OK to update also branch 7.3/8.0 with this? If yes, I may create pull requests also into branch 7.3 and 8.0
I think that actually we should deal with translation of Develop. There are now errors that I hope will be corrected by the next update- I'm counting on Mr.Pr2 regular updates. On the other hand, Chinese is too complicated

No, don't update release branches, if only because the code is different and you may actually break something. Also, in this case, 7.3 and 8.0 aren't being built at the moment.
@everyone,
If there are still translations for develop pending, please finish them as soon as possible, so they can be part of the upcoming 8.1-release.

Since it is now merged, it would be good if Pr2 would ‘let it over’ with latest pot file. I'd rather not do it myself, let the one who knows what he's doing, let him correct it! The reason is that it's probably translated on the basis of 7.3 or 8.0, but they already contain partially obsolete phrases from point of develop branch.

I have update the pushed zh_CN.po with the latest .pot file

But there are some strings to be reviewed and some strings to translate to have a fully simplified chinese translation for OpenPLI 8.x
For the other .po files they are all already up-to-date so translator can work on them.
