Latest german translation - also with adaption for this commit.

Steffen, did you use an older version of th de.po file to create your update? Your de.po file seems to remove a lot of
messages that are still in the enigma2 code.

Please also consult with daddelfalk as he also creates de.po updates. Maybe you two can work together...

Which messages do you mean? I've removed just such things like
msgid "60 minutes"
msgstr "60 Minuten"
because this should be covered by the new plural form. Additionally i've removed things like
msgid "1"
msgstr "1"
with identically content in the translation (because this doesn't need a translation).
But i've also added some things (e.g. network browser) because this translations are not supported by the plugins themselves.
Most problems can be solved simply by a closer look.

Well, maybe someone wants to translate "1" to "uno"... ;)
Anyway as long as there are _("1") refrences in the source code it will come back again.

But the main point is that when more people are working on translations for the same language it may be a good idea to let those people work together, don't you agree?

it is not so easy... there is created formatstring only and then is date/time make as strftime(self.formatstring, localtime(self.value)). There gettext has not chance anything translating.

Hi guys,

please put in the enigma2.mo file the following german translations;
msgid "  NOW"

msgstr "NAECHSTE"

msgid "Network Configuration"
msgstr "Netzwerk Konfiguration"

msgstr "Jetzt:"

Hi Steffen,

i have here also new de translations, they are for the messages in the Standby.py and for Plugin EPG Import.
i attach it here as a zip file, can you take it in the de.po ?

i have testet and they works correct

and i have found also a little error in the enigma2.mo -> here i have seen;
msgid "Prefer subtitle stored by service"
msgstr "Bevorzuge gespeicherte Untertitel den Senders"
can you change it to the correct entry as following;
msgid "Prefer subtitle stored by service"
msgstr "Bevorzuge gespeicherte Untertitel des Senders"

thanks

Russian .po & .mo

I will make a complete translation during few days...

hello kukharski. Your .po differentiates very much from what is is de repository. Many already new strings are removedn and old (deleted) strings reappear.

Please base your translations on the latest version.
Please clone the repo, translate and submit a git patch.

And when you want to update your translations, always refresh the your local repo
(of coarse this counts for anybody doing translations).

My advise is to update the po file, before starting to translate.
If you just clone the e2 repository, chances are you still have a very old po file.

Hm, I thought the po files were already update in the repo.
In that case we need to make sure the po files on the repo are up to date. Can't we add that to the nightly build process?

or perhaps rather weekly, because that would generate a huge number of 'dummy' commits.
(normally you wouldn't commit a po update, till the updates have been translated and fixed)
