How to activate this plugin in OpenPli 9.0? When I attach it to hotkey it opens the setup page instead of zap history

Just select the history by the <, 0 or > key?

I just realized now, why is it not possible to use a custom hotkey instead of the limited selection which is oferred. For example I really like to use the back button on the remote. Using arrows or ch+ up down is not really intuitive and removes the option to zap the channels with those buttons.

The back button is 0 on the RCU when zapping.

With the left right arrow aside the 0 key you can zap backward and then zap forward.

So what you want to achieve is already foreseen by default.

Then I don't understand why nothing happens when I press the back button. I managed to show the zap history by selecting the help button

I am not talking about any HotKey assignment so back button is not involved in my explanation.

Not all RCU have the back button for example VU+ doesn't have it.

So by default when zapping it is the 0 key that perform the "back function" that you are looking at.

I am not looking for back functions, the thing I am looking for is zap history attached to the back button on the remote. Is 0 button zap history?

Install evtest from the feed, chances are that if hotkey doesn't see the button, the button doesn't even generate an eventcode (i.e. is not supported in the drivers).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

What does evtest do? I can't find it in the feed

Why does it work with Zap History Selector by Dorik1972 then. I only needed to attach the plugin to the back button via hotkey. Unfortunately I would rather use the official OpenPli plugin, the one from Dorik has OAtv skin which doesn't match with OPli

I would like to attach the OPli plugin to the back button. Bottom arrow keys are far on the remote from basic controls. Left and Right is basic control for zapping as well as ch+/-

I changed this in plugin.py for the back key

HistoryZapSelectorKeys = [
	["none",_("standard <  >"),["KEY_RESERVED","KEY_RESERVED"]],
	["LeftRight",_("only LEFT/RIGHT"),["KEY_LEFT","KEY_RIGHT"]],
	["TextHelp",_("only TEXT/HELP"),["KEY_TEXT","KEY_HELP"]],
	#["Bouquet",_("only CH+/-,B+/-,P+/-"),["KEY_CHANNELUP","KEY_CHANNELDOWN"]],
	["Bouquet",_("only CH-,B-,P-"),["KEY_BACK"]],
]
