But the picon (XPicon) scaling quality is not good enough for me ...

It would be great if it could be configured as: scale picon or center picon.

- There is not enough room for channel number in the upper right corner, even 2 digits overlap date for a little, 3 or 4 digits look really ugly.

You need to put your picons also into the XPicons/picon folder! We said it thousand times already

Changes:

 

1. CoolTV Guide layout changed (hope you like it )

2. Infowidget CAM -> Provider replaced by Transponder info
3. Short description removed from Epg Widget
4. NumberZapExt centered
5. Adopted "About" section for OpenPLI image.

6. Removed VTi stuff from skin
7. Timeshift position changed above infobar

8. Various layout position adjustments.

fixed it by doing this:

 

 

opkg remove enigma2-plugin-picons-tv-ocram.hd.reflection
cd /usr/share/enigma2
mkdir XPicons
cd XPicons
mkdir picon
cd /
ln -s /usr/share/enigma2/XPicons/picon/ picon
opkg install enigma2-plugin-picons-tv-ocram.hd.reflection

 

And it works.... But why not add the default picon paths of openpli also? In the feed there is also this one:

enigma2-plugin-skins-metrixhd-wpstyle-mod-pli - 1.0 - MetrixHD skin modded by Taykun345 for OpenPLi 3.0

and works fine with default openpli picon paths.

Original picons are 100x60, Xpicons are 220x132. That's the reason why we need to have them in two separated folders. And in that version you mentioned there is no possibility to use XPicons, so normal picons are stretched and distorted. Other thing is that we need to have original 100x60 picons because CoolTV guide use them...

Ok, tnx for clarifation. Didn't know that. There are actually no XPicons in the feeds of openpli available.

Sure they aren't. XPicons are special pack of larger icons made for MyMetrixSkin. Unfortunately, there are only for Astra 19.2 and few other providers. So for me on Astra 23.5 they are useless. I have resized my original picons to bigger size to have icons centered but it's only a workaround. Hopefully someone will create XPicons also for Astra 23.5 providers :-)

Hi, I see the problem now. We could help also problems if we have a month with longer name, e.g. December. Then it can overlaps the channel number... Hm, don't know what to do, any ideas? Remove channel number? But I would like to keep it...

 

Timeshift bar can be set transparent, of course... I can try how it will look like....

 

Btw, what language do you use ?

The language seen in screenshots is Greek.

A very tiny movement to the left would be ok for March but you are right, longer months could be overwritten too. Never mind, leave it as it is.

 

Another small issue, on second infobar, disabled hbbtv icon is not shown (it can be seen in screenshots as well).

installed new version, good job , thanks...
here's my 2 cents:
1. picons:
- what about once suggested addition of scaling feature into XPicon/XPiconChannel renderers? maybe scaled picons don't look perfect (/?/see screenshot), but imho it's still better than having small ones displayed,
as you've wrote, XPicons are available yet /?/ only for a limited number of providers //and adding this wouldn't do any harm to the big XPicons
- bouquet picon - some ancient e2 picon_default is displayed, metrix default looks much better - just put (omitted?) picon_default.png into /MetrixHD/skin_default
2. slimming down the package - it's better but still...
- windoze's thumbs.db in almost all images containig directories
- redundant fonts: arial, (both) HandelGotD, setrixHDOriginal, nmsbd2
a total of about 800k /?/ to be released...

Changelog:

 

1. Possibility to scale picons in XPicons/picons folder to 220x132px. (in case you are using smaller picons than 220x132px). Can be enabled or disabled in plugin configuration -> Scale Picons -> Yes/No

2. Unused fonts a image cache files remove.
