Thank you chris for clearing that up.

I've adapted your changes to my ffmpeg bbappend.

But if you only want to have wma than your gstreamer1.0-libav with it's small libgstlibav.so should be sufficient right?

Like I said, I just want users to have to possibility to install the full fmpeg if they desire for exteplayer3.

@christophecvr

I think that you too do not understand: THERE IS NO PROBLEM TO HAVE TWO PLAYERS IN THE SYSTEM.

MUST MUST

Why do you think you can say what somethink MUST and NOT MUST?

You are not oracle.

And please first try, use, check then write not vice versa like you did now.

And you really not know what are you writing about.

You do not have to use extepleyr3 in IPTVPlayer.

It gives you a choice you can use exteplayer3, gstplayer or system player.

No problem you can use what you want.

You are really funny insinuating such things like:

hide possible very sever security issues but can be used to implement so what ever spyware, trackers, viruses, pishing ware and ......

For the rest follow my previous message .

In your message there is no answer.

Yes the gst-libav package on our stb's is only required for wma audio or video/audio media off which the audio is wma.

Like for dm8000 gst-libav is not needed at all. On vuduo gst-libav is needed. other stb's is  for me a question mark.

You really have a problem with reading.

So, again:

1.
At first please check if exteplayer3 use OpenSSL. NOT IT IS NOT USING OPENSSL!
So, what for did you write such nonsense? At first please check then writes, and not vice versa.
exteplayer3 use ffmpeg libs which uses openssl.
Do you see the difference? The same binary of the exteplayer3 can works on system were there is openssl 1.0.0 and openssl 1.0.2. No, problem.

2.
Please check solution friend @mx3L how player in separate process can be integrated with E2.
And you are saying about "really usable". As I understand you say that IPTVPlayer users do not use player really?

3.
The stability do you know this word? Player in separate process is more stable. I think that you are agree with this?
Even Google knows this: all tabs in google chrome web browser are working as separate processes.

Where there are answer to these qustions in you prev post to which you are sending me?

You're a politician, that you are talking about something that you have no knowledge?

I not ask you to use IPTV Player, I only say that when you are talking about something you should check at least in source code.
At now it seems that you are ignorant.

I'm sorry but I think that other people can see it.

Sorry i will test only the day that all is full 100 % open . so long there are closed things in it sorry .... I do not trust it.

The only thing I did is removing a conflict between ffmpeg (required for you're plugins) and  gstreamer base packages required for standard pli multimedia player.

now seeing you're reaction sorry ... but i asked why ?? i lost my time on that issue, after all it only does concern those who wan't you're live stream player.

Hehehe. Are you have problem with reading? When you do not have ffmpeg binary then IPTVPlayer will not even ask you to install exteplayer3.

So, about what closed things you are talking about? IPTVPlayer does not require exteplayer3.

Do you understand that?

NO. NO. NO.

You write untrue things.

And my reaction is due to this. And you still not have referred to the arguments.

So, maybe one by one.

Why you were write about OpenSSL and exteplayer3?

EXTEPLAYER3 NOT USE OPENSSL. So, why?

So, why you start to write untruths? And about things on which you have no basic knowledge?

It puts you in a very bad light.

When you use open source player gstplayer:

https://gitlab.com/s...aster/gstplayer

Yes. But some streams are works better with exteplayer3. Aslo exteplayer3 consumes fewer resources

Aslo FULL HD 1080p videos from youtube are only supported by exteplayer3, but you can use 720p no problem.

Well you're not very right about that only exteplayer3 does support full hd videos.

I do have vuduo2 . By that box the real base youtube application is avbl (not the youtube from Taapat) . It just plays whatever you wan't just like actually the application on my samsung tv does.

What this have to do with you question and my answer?

I say only that you need exteplayer3 to watch full Youtube videos in the IPTVPlayer. I am not talking about @Taapat plugin.

I think you only want to say one think: "The IPTVPlayer is not so good like the others people say because I do not like it." and "@samsamsam spend time to make external player to give IPTVPlayer stable streams players but it is stupid, because I pereare some patches for player based on gstreamer integrated with E2"

When I show you that you write untruth, then you change topic.

You not answer on my arguments.

You have a serious problem, but fortunately it's not my problem.

So, please stop write nonsense. And please correct untrue information.

Oh. And one more thing you are not welcome to use IPTV Player, due to your insinuation.

Offtop:

I hope that this app is open source, otherwise it will mean that you are lying saying:

i'm very against so called closed source productions and quit simple

I think you should:

1. stop write nonsense

2. correct untrue information

3. say sorry

But, this is only my opinion. But it is certain that your information were unverified and  full of insinuations.

I think you should agree at least with this sentence.

@samsamsam

You are using an external player to play video streams, and I was convinced he plays a few more different formats than the built-in player in e2, for example AppleTrailer, maybe it makes sense to improve the embedded code in e2, if not to take into account that the execution in a separate thread external player gives you a little more stability?

@Alexvrs

To play AppleTrailer you need use custom User-Agent only. Custom User-Agent is supported by system E2 player you only need to set it.

But you are rigth when player is running in separete process than it is more stable because when it crash or have memory leak then E2 will still works and player can be run again.

Friend @mx3L

works on solution to integrate external players to use via core E2:

http://forums.openpl...d-exteplayer3/

He, also have source code of exteplayer3, so it can say about "spyware, trackers, viruses, pishing ware and .....", hehe inside ;)

SSS
