And after updating manually (--force-overwrite) the lcd4linux plugin, I get enigma2 crash on enigma2 shutdown/reboot

Maybe it's worth a try to get L4L from https://github.com/o...lliance-plugins ; that version has been especially adapted to support the DUO2.

I confirm that with 20130819 drivers the ATSC issue is gone.
Can anyone in contact with VU+ ask them to support dst_apply in /proc/stb/vmpeg/?/ - it is needed for splitscreen and other plugins.
edit: Someone also has to inform them that in Europe we have 50Hz/25 fps. The framerate option in encoder lacks this option, it only has fps values for NTSC modes (29970, 30000 etc)

If I'm not mistaken the recipe (depends) is in the attached file.

What is the exact fix that is required for the vu the lcd4linux plugin? From the oe-alliance commits this is not fully clear!
I have no idea. But why bother about that?
As the OE-A version works fine for 13 image builder teams for a huge number of boxes (I guess some 50, maybe more, I didn't actually count them), chances are that it works fine for PLi as well.
So at the cost of a small one-time job, add the build to your feeds, you have a live-long use of a well maintained plugin!

Hy,
seems that the em28xx kernel drivers are not compiled.
I got the following message when trying to install the em28xx plugin:
Installing enigma2-plugin-drivers-dvb-usb-em28xx (1.0-r0) to root...
Downloading http://downloads.pli...r0_mips32el.ipk.
Collected errors:
* satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for enigma2-plugin-drivers-dvb-usb-em28xx:
* kernel-module-em28xx-dvb *
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package enigma2-plugin-drivers-dvb-usb-em28xx.
In addition i can not found the kernel-module-em28xx driver to.
Does somebody can compile this kernel drivers for DUO2.
Thanks!
Tommy

that version has been especially adapted to support the DUO2.
That that is exactly what should not have been done this way..
When it is really a bug in this plugin the fix should be pushed to the sources of this plugin and not stayed on a oe-Alliance fork.
But I suggest the oe-Alliance still doesn't get it...
For us as far I could check this was a 3rd party plugin... So I upgraded our 3rd party feeds with the IPK above.
However the version number of the above IPG was not increased to the one we had in out 3rd party feeds.... So for the fix you need to uninstall and reinstall the plugin.

I'm not going to discuss any GIT-issues with you anymore.
Whatever what question you're asked in this area you never ever answer.
Whatever what solution you're offered you're never happy.
So if you don't want any ready to use solution please go ahead and invent the wheel again yourself. But don't start moaning again about not being helped!
BTW: the official version in IHAD supports duo2.
