Yes thats the correct dreamup.
Now download the ssl 84 for your dm800hd and flash it :-)

what is this ssl 84? and where to get it for drambox original?

 

yes it does need to flash it with some sort of software but i dont know where to get one

 

I got original dreambox 800 pvr

I flashed it with dreambox image, it took only few minutes but box didnt work. A friend is helping me with openpli image but it will take good one hour for this image to upload. and I hope that it will work eventually...

Well your receiver will not magically work after flashing the ssl.
However you should now be able to hold the power button after powering your receiver until it says STOP.
Then you can flash the original PLi image (from www.openpli.org) by opening the ip-address in your webbrowser.
It is displayed on the little screen on your receiver.

Now I have one issue....

 

Since I uploaded Channels list,

 

- I cant find IPTV which was part of OpenPli image ----

- I cant find the feature of http://192.168.0.8:16003/servers anymore.

 

 

I will appreciate your help guys

Read on this forum, how best to get IPTV on your box by using IPTV Player, using ffmpeg etc. Find my guide - easy... ;)

thats what I did, I changed from 3 to 16001. it all worked but cccam is not stable in this version and I had to reinstall the image.

 

I dont if its the one of the latest image or what but its file name is openpli-enigma2-4-dm800.nfi

 

 

it has some IPTV channels

 

but problem is, as soon as i upload satellite channel list,  iptv channels disappears all together.

 

I will appreciate if someone can guide me toward a better image, more stable, more English IPTV channes and I want to watch satellite channels along with IPTV in my dreambox please...

This version of OpenPli 4.0 is being maintained by MastaG and based on the official OpenPli repositories. It is by his efforts that you can still enjoy having OpenPli 4.0 on this ancient DM800-HD and even on the less ancient DM800-SE v1 and v2 models.. OpenPli 2.1 was the latest official version for the DM800-HD and even that version had been 'put on ice' for a while...
OpenPli 4.0 simply demands more memory to run smoothly and memory is something those boxes simply lack. Apart from this the CPU's on those boxes run at 350 and 405Mhz which is not very fast....

Use the box for as long as you can, but if you have 'demands' simply buy a newer box...

these were nice and wise words but what is your recommendation for a replacement to dreambox? I might be buying 4k UHD tv very soon, so I need a box that can take feeds of 4k channels please.

 

I know of one box, solo 4k ... is there anything else exist in the market?

 

I also has got Android Box if you can help me to set up IPTV please

That's the VTi skin from VU+ boxes. Not available for DM800

You did notice the smileys? It was ment to be a bit sarcastic.. I have had a long conversation via Skype and Teamvierwer with this guy. He is mainly watching FTA and IPTV and uses FreeCCcam addresses/lines to view....
