Cool TV Guide 1920x1080 full HD skin

The version on post 8 works fine with full HD Skin. Only the picons in /usr/share/enigma2/picon are empty.

If it's included in your skin, then yes.
I'm using PLi-FullNightHD skin (1920x1080) and plugin is not skinned.
Which skin you're using ?

My picons are showing correctly. I've installed them in /picon

Becauae this closed closed spurce plug is not really needed it will not be skinnen in our basic skins... When you miss something in our build in gmepg it can be considered to addapt... Then all have it in opensource..... As far I now at this moment there is not much to adapt....

Hallo,

the gmepg is now very good.

When I use it as alternative to Cooltv Guide - how can I scroll page by page.

In cooltv guide I can use the Number Buttons as cross.

2 -> up

8 -> down

4-> left

6-> right

You can see the funtion by pressing the help button.... The nu,ber buttons do something different....

All important functions are impemented in graphic multi epg

Same problem on my receiver. After changing the .py file and insrtalling the .ipk from post #8 my picons are gone :-(

Picon path is /picon. Any ideas?

Hi i tried the updated ipk but then the icons were gone the update mesage was gone but no icons so i unistalled and reinstaled ver 7.3.0 from BH menu download

installed the PYO plugin deleted old version and rebooted BH all is working fine problem solved

I installed successfully the 'new' plugin on the most recent OpenPli image, however ... unfortunately NO picons anymore in the Cool TV Guide !!!...

I  tried with a new set of picons on my USB stick, but still NO picons...??? I wonder what's going on .

Can someone help me, please ?

Try a softlink for the picons at the location where (not so) cool epg (becaue it is closed source) expect the picon to where openpli puts them..

Note this plugin might be required in dmm and vu based images, but openpli based images have a better open source gmepg instead and do not need closed source stuff... When you really mis so ething in gmepg it can be made due to open soirce...

Some, but not much, as most people seem to be happy with it.

 

There was a discussion some time ago, and at that point is was concluded that Cool didn't have many features that were unmissable, or that weren't already present in the image. If that has changed, we may need to have this discussion again.
