Once the quadpip will fully work I'm considering to rewrite the complete plugin and make the whole stuff a bit more user friendly...

1) You think about made run this plugin by long preas down bouthons? No go to context menu next seleckt plugin and next pip?

2) In VIX and OBH image is very user friendly way run PIP by long prees down bouthon and next seleckt second chnaell to pip.

If will be add something like this will be very user friendly

Long press down on number and zap buttons is not done. It will reduce response on the buttons with approx 200 msec.

I still couldn't find any answer to my question if there is a technical problem with adding HDMI-IN to the Quad-PIP or if it just hasn't been done so far.

I do have HDMI-IN in the channel list on VTI, but with the original plugin not only does HDMI-IN not work in Quad-PiP but if start the plugin while on HDMI-IN the main picture (lower right corner) remains black for any selected channel. If I get another Ultimo 4k for testing purposes I might check out other images and plugins in progress.

OpenPLi 4 is in feature freeze, so it will not be added to it anymore. It will be available in OpenPLi 6, and for those using the develop branch to make a homebuild.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Ultimo4K the bottom two quads do not have Audio.... Pending on driver upgrade... And sometimes you might get an "oepsie"... Even for VU+ this feature is not stable. So it does not belong in an stabel image like 6.0 stable and 6.0 r/c. That is why we have it at this moment in develop only...

Erik Slagter It means what only in your image not yet.

And then the question remains, how exactly does that influence OpenPLi? If not already obvious, OpenPLi does NOT include a feature simply because others do.

Hi,

OpenPLi 6/ develop/solo4k video + audio work fine(small problem witch 4th pip frame decoder).

from what I read is the problem with 4th frame hardware related and impossible to fix on Solo4K and perhaps other smaller 4K boxes.

ciao
