Hi,

I have openpli image and epgimport filter plugin. Since last week when downloading rytec epg sources for UK sat 28.2E channels its showing that its downloading but don't see any epg on schedule. Also, i have issue with my satellite not sure what it is but it may be the LNB. Also, my date and time is wrong.

Could that be causing the EPG not to download properly?

Is there any way of changing the date and time manually on openplig image without choosing timezone as that way i think it picks up from a satellite?

When watching freeview sat channels it says tuner failed could that be my LNB that is faulty?

Thanks

I think, you have to get you installation in working order, before we can comment on why no EPG is imported.

The EPGimporter imports only EPG for channels which are in lamedb.  If you have problems with an LNB (faulty or misaligned), scanning the sat will not fill lamedb with the correct values, and hence nothing is imported.

So, first task:  find out what is wrong, and why nothing can be received from 28.2E

And yes, a LNB can be faulty.  Or it can just be misaligned.

To answer to your question about setting up the time on your box, you should install this plugin:

opkg update
opkg install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-systemtime

Then you will be able to select how you want to get the time on your box, either form a transponder or from Internet NTP servers.
