If I look at both available entries for Sweden (Galve and Sundvall), both don't define channel 22.

Without an update of the terrestrial.xml, an automatic scan will never find them, so it doesn't look like a technicall issue, just that  the Swedish transmitters are missing/incorrect.

But if this is the case, you should be able to do a "User defined transponder" scan, select System "DVB-T2" and Channel 22.

Currently in use: VU+Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), Amiko Viper T2C (T2), SAB Alpha Triple HD (S2+T2), Zgemma H3.T2C (T/C), Zgemma H6 (fallback), VU+Zero (fallback)

Of course I tested Auto and DVB-T2 for channel search like I am sure you did too. Even tried to input single transponder data directly.

If this doesn't give any result:

Attached File  4097_0_1_5269_C99_3_EB0000_0_0_0_20190515144912.jpg   87.25KB   1 downloads

Then I don't know.

Note the "Network scan = yes", if that is set to no (and that is default) it will still try to get the info from the terrestrial.xml.

It works only if you set plp id to 001

Ok. Good.

So we've established there is no technical issue, but a definition file issue. We have:

	<terrestrial name="Sweden, Gavle (Europe DVB-T/T2)" flags="5" countrycode="SWE">
		<transponder centre_frequency="498000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="2" code_rate_hp="1" code_rate_lp="6" guard_interval="2" transmission_mode="1" hierarchy_information="0" inversion="2"/>
		<transponder centre_frequency="562000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="2" code_rate_hp="1" code_rate_lp="6" guard_interval="2" transmission_mode="1" hierarchy_information="0" inversion="2"/>
		<transponder centre_frequency="674000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="2" code_rate_hp="1" code_rate_lp="6" guard_interval="2" transmission_mode="1" hierarchy_information="0" inversion="2"/>
		<transponder centre_frequency="706000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="2" code_rate_hp="1" code_rate_lp="6" guard_interval="2" transmission_mode="1" hierarchy_information="0" inversion="2"/>
	</terrestrial>
	<terrestrial name="Sweden, Sundsvall S Stadsberget (Europe DVB-T/T2)" flags="5" countrycode="SWE">
		<transponder centre_frequency="498000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="3" plp_id="1" system="1"/>
		<transponder centre_frequency="514000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="3" plp_id="1" system="1"/>
		<transponder centre_frequency="522000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="3" plp_id="1" system="0"/>
		<transponder centre_frequency="546000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="3" plp_id="1" system="0"/>
		<transponder centre_frequency="650000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="3" plp_id="1" system="1"/>
		<transponder centre_frequency="682000000" bandwidth="0" constellation="3" plp_id="1" system="0"/>
	</terrestrial>

which is the same as OpenATV has.

So we're missing info.

I checked, Openatv the HD channel appears in the list, but no picture or sound, plp id to 001 is missing.

I've added channel 22 to "Sweden, Sundsvall S Stadsberget (Europe DVB-T/T2)", as HD and with PLP 1, and build a new Duo4K rc image. Can you do a software update, and check if that makes a difference?

It can't be just the xml file. The OE-A images use the same xml file.

OpenViX keeps the core dvb files in sync with PLi. Any changes we make get pushed back to PLi. The two images finding the same number of channels makes sense.

PurE2 follows OpenATV. So those being the same makes sense. But you have mentioned an issue with one of the images.

OpenBlackHole follows OpenViX. The fact that they are finding different number of services is an anomaly.

There is a header in the xml explaining that the different images use different values for the same thing. We should really use the dvb standard. Short term pain of having to rescan, but better in the long term.

Can confirm that rc7.1 still does not find the DVB-T2 FTA channels in Sweden with the internal BCM3466 tuner (while SD DVB-T still are fine). And you guys made us users believe it's a driver issue!  :lol:

My old USB DVB-T2 stick continues to find everything even under rc7.1 with the Duo4K. It tried to channel search with the USB tuner, then disable it, and then enable the internal BCM3466. Picture fine on DVB-T through BCM3466, but no picture and sound if I zap to the T2 channels found by my USB tuner.

There seems to be something wrong in openPli regarding the handling of this tuner (see my problems regarding tuner order at the beginning of this thread). The VTI image handled this tuner perfectly including Swedish DVB-T2 months ago.

At least the rc7.1 seems to have fixed the AAC-HE sound issue.

If your box, with OpenPLi 7.1rc, finds all channels without problems using a USB T2 tuner, but not using the tuner module from the manufacturer, how can it be an Enigma problem?

This can't be much more than a driver issue, which VTI has worked around in their Enigma, instead of feeding the issue back to VU+ so the drivers can be fixed. Which is one of the reasons we NEVER work around issues, problems should be fixed where they are created. As long as image builders do this, manufacturers never feel the need to fix their bugs.

Unfortunately, since VTI violates the GPL license and keeps their sources closed, we can't find out what the workaround is, so we can't report the issue either.

This is interesting. The duo4k has two slots for FBC tuners. How can there be a tuner that only provides one or two tuners (letters) like one of the poster said?

Also it's sibling Ultimo4k has a little thing where C (and probably T too) tuners must be the first (i.e. on position A onwards), otherwise it won't work reliably. Who knows the duo4k has a similar restriction.

Open Blackhole = VTI = VU+ image copy. Which will quite likely all have the same Enigma workaround.

The latest public Open Blackhole code (https://github.com/O...ackhole-enigma2) is from 2016, so useless.

You linked to wrong repository. OpenBH is based on OE-A, they are making two versions. One is still based on prehistoric Vu+ E2, 2nd one is OpenBH.

I think we've already established there is a problem, trying the same thing over and over doesn't make it go away?

Issue remains we don't know what the problem is, we don't know how others adressed it, we don't have access to Swedish DVB-T ourselfs to develop against, so I don't really see a way forward without some external help.
