Flash OpenPLI in flash to get the new system (maybe also flash newer VIX or OPENATV), then reflash the slots again with the images you prefer.

What will happen if the flesh put OpenPLi 7.3?

Secondly, the other slots are put latest published version of images: OpenATV 6.4 or 6.5, Pure 6.5, OpenVIX 5 0 39, etc. What does it mean that they have no new multiboot type?

I think it would be fairer to say that we are trying to OpenPLi not work in multoboot with Pure and maybe some other images. I've gained such an impression ...

I've checked with the developer.

Between 7.2 and 7.3, the multiboot system has been changed. Together with the vendors and other image makers we have unified the mechanism, instead of every vendor and image maker using their own system.

From that I understand, OE-A images are backwards compatible, and OpenPLi is not.

Which means my initial comments still stand: OpenPLi 7.3+ needs a new multiboot type image in flash. That doesn't have to be OpenPLi, any of the others will do to. But if you have say ATV 6.2 in flash, you'll have this problem.

As far I'm informed OE-A did adapt the code... the old STARTUP files did include a kind of faulty information. To avoid if box x then do y code in our image it could not be made backwards compatible. Anyway it is also better to switch to the new system instead of keeping the ancient system. Why do you want latest images and forgot to update to the latest multiboot system. When I put a version number on this part nobody is arguing ;)

OpenVix 5.039 it's in my flash...Latest version...Slot 2-Pure 6.5 Slot 3-OpenAtv 6.4 Slot 4-OpenPli 7.2 because if I put OpenPli 7.3..and go to the image OpenPli 7.3 i can no longer return to any image because no slot is visible...I talk about it all the time

Could you please post the output of the commands I posted? That will show immediately how the flashed image has partitioned the box.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

OpenVix 5.3.039. in flash...Insert image for the next slot to folder imagebackups..Multiboot see it that way...can also online, except Pure 6.5...Insert the image into the slot 2-Pure 6.5,slot-3 OpenAtv 6.4 and slot -4 OpenPli 7.3...( slot 1-Open Vix 5.3.039)...In any image you enter you see other slots, only in OpenPli 7.3 stands no image found to multiboot ...You can then flash from OpenPli 7.3 with the image from OpenPli 7.2 to slot 4 to see other slots or partitions...

Essentially OpenPli 7.2 recognizes slots (partitions),OpenPli 7.3 does not see after inserting into any slot...

Crash log does not exist..

A quick check:

mkdir /tmp/bdev
mount /dev/mmcblk0p7 /tmp/bdev
ls -l /tmp/bdev
umount /tmp/bdev

A new multiboot partition scheme should have directories for STARTUP_LINUX_2_BOXMODE_1, STARTUP_LINUX_3_BOXMODE_1, STARTUP_LINUX_4_BOXMODE_1 and STARTUP_LINUX_2_BOXMODE_12, STARTUP_LINUX_3_BOXMODE_12, STARTUP_LINUX_4_BOXMODE_12.

If it doesn't, or you can't mount that partition, your flashed image is too old.

That looks odd. I've asked the developer for feedback.

6 files that is indeed obvious. I have no clue what you flashed and how
Long this is ago... 100% you need to upgrade your let’s say multiboot ‘bios’.... why having latest images and do not upgrade your bios?

I did a flash with Pure 6.5...Only the OpenPli image multiboot does not recognize...The problem is in you whether you want to admit it or not...Simply, you are not in the standard of a multiboot enigma 2...

The only option for Zgemma H7S receivers is to go to the flash OpenVix 5.3.039. because if you put any other image OpenPli cannot be inserted into the multiboot...and then use OpenPli 7.2 in some of the slots...I tested everything this is the only possible...

You have 3 other images available to use (ATV ViX Pure)...just use one of those and wait for PLi team they will investigate and fix this for sure..

It is definitely clear that OpenPli 7.3 can only work in flash...I don't have a newer image than OpenVix 5.3.039.OpenAtv 6.4 or Pure 6.5..

No, it is not. So let me repeat yet again:

You need an image in flash that uses the new partition scheme. And to get an image in flash, you need to flash the USB image. Flashing a multiboot image in slot 1 is NOT the same!!!
