I have the same on my new Vu Duo 4K SE and also on Ultimo 4K , I was going to start a topic here concerning , why this great plugin Lcd4Linux doesn't work anymore on the best receivers ???? On Ultimo 4K clock and picons are too small on open pli 8.0 than on Duo 4K SE !!! This is stupid so on larger screen Ultimo 4K elements are so small.This plugin might solved this silly problem.

@ROMAN42

VU+ LCD skin has been reworked, you can try OpenPLI Nightly Build to check if you are now satisfied with the VU+ LCD Display.

Can you take a photo of the LCD screen to show us what you are complaining about?

There are now two different discussions running in parallel here. Not handy, please open a new topic for a new problem.

Thanks for advice but don't work for me. Any other solutions?

Does that mean the error is still the same?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

On Ultimo 4k looks like this and main reason to complain is in stand by mode.20210806-181549.jpg20210806-181520.jpg

But what exactly is the problem? Standby screen is defined by the skin. What do you want on your standby screen when the box is in standby?

in a nutshell , i want the same proportion on lcd in stand by and working mode like those use on Duo 4K SE .Ultimo 4k screen is larger and clock is too small in stand by mode. Also rec icon should be larger and picon. I watch tv from 3,5 meter and vu screen is harder to read.

The LCD is not displaying the same informations when in operation than when in stand by, so it is the normal the screen are different and the clock is smaller in operation.

If you search on the forum use google with search pattern site:openpli.org

And you will find where the front LCD display skin.xml is located and you can start tuning it to fit your needs.

The Friends of PLi should have all the decoders to fix everything, but it is not possible. Decoders that have a display like our vu + unfortunately need help from those who own it. For example, I have a 4K one if I worked on the .xml file to optimize everything. In your case you should do this job and turn them the optimized file like I did, in fact it was put in the reposity as good.
