Yes, I meant with all USB tuners.

So the problems in newer images are only with the Turbo SE?

Can pull the drivers from the VTI image.

On VTI 13.0.9/VTI 14.0.6 is tuner installed automaticaly without install any driver by user and "It is recommended to insert with the receiver off¨".  => drivers for DVBSky T330 will not be 100% compatible plus will be old, imho ...

ims: I tried the suggested t330/classic/turbo method, the packages have probably different names, because I get "Couldn't find anything to satisfy" error on all three.

The kernel is the same.

Problem solved.

I was able to download the VTI driver package.

I installed the package in 8.3 and it woks :-)

I'm attaching the driver package.

Thank you all for your help, especially Dimitrij, who put me on the right path.

 

PS: It seems that the DVBSky T330 is exactly the same as the VU+ Turbo SE.

And the lsmod is the same as in VTI ?

I wonder what source and what patches VTI has used, we'll not be able to find out since they violate the license and don't publish their code.

 

The Linux kernel doesn't have any driver support until 3.18, so they did do something.

 

If I look at OpenVUplus 3.0, I see recipies called hmp in their BSP (http://code.vuplus.c...ipes-driver/hmp) which they haven't included in our BSP, so this might have to be looked at.
