I have kept the recording red graphic

Then I can run a test build to see how it looks on the TV, that is different from what my monitor makes of it.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Just updated, but the colours are no success.
While on a screenschot the grey backgound is visble, on the TV it isn't, unless I watch from the side. And the cursor is some weird sort of blue-green.
So I think the grey needs to be a bit lighter, and the weird colour gradient needs to be removed, the recording red doesn't have that weird gradient.

@WanWizard: So regarding the gray....Here is something weird happening.
Here is screenshot from my TV (made with my phone)

As you can see the gray is clearly visible (well because the room is lightened it is brighter than reality but the difference is clear).
Maybe you use too low contrast on your TV?
Well you can try this to see how it looks on your TV

But it definitely look worse on mine
So if i make that graphic lighter it will be too bright to my TV.....
Regarding the blue graphic. Maybe you can try this one...

Could be, I don't like the overly high contrast and colour most TV's are set to.
Now my test TV in my office is a low-budget multinorm LCD thing, I'll test this evening with the one in my living room, which is a Pioneer Kuro plasma that has a THX Cinema configration (in which you can't change anything, THX determines brightness, contrast anc RGB).
