It should be something like this

root@vuultimo4k:~# cat /etc/resolv.conf
# Generated by resolvconf
nameserver 192.168.100.251

so it looks like your resolver doesn't work but that depends on the image your running at the moment.....

You can try to add your gateway address by hand in /etc/resolv.conf

Found it . The problem exist if you disable DHCP and set your own IP , then you have to add Gateway & Primary DNS something that is was not needed in R8 or back .

After adding both problem solved .

Great to hear the problem is solved, did you flash the receiver with restoring your backup?

By default the DHCP option is enabled but could be overwritten during restoring your backup..

Maybe a CI+ certificate is needed... then google is your friend.

Some times disabling the CAM and re-enabling it might also help.

Hello

I would like to point out that the CI+ECP CANAL+ module does not work

Is there a chance for healing?

Tak zainstalowałem "enigma2-plugin-extensions-ci_plus_helper-openpli8.x_3_all.ipk" moduł jest widoczny ,ale nie można dodać caid i nie odtwarza programów

This is how I installed "enigma2-plugin-extensions-ci_plus_helper-openpli8.x_3_all.ipk" the module is visible, but caid cannot be added and it does not play the programs

Czy utworzyłeś folder /etc/ciplus?
Wyjmij moduł, a następnie włóż go z powrotem. Jeśli wszystko pójdzie dobrze, w telewizorze pojawi się baner informacyjny, na którym będziesz mógł śledzić proces.

Have you created the /etc/ciplus folder?
Remove the module and then push it back in. If all goes well, an information banner will appear on TV in which you can follow the process.

I have two problems after flash to 9.0 on my VuDuo2!

First, the Clock on LCD.window does not show up (black screen)

Second, LCD4Linux setting in Webif does not work for me

"Error 404: Not found The requested page doesn't exist", it says in my web browsers (Safari and Brave)

I have reflashed twice and the same result both times

The LCD4Linux plugin works as what I can see!

I also have an Ultimo4k and ther the LCD4Linux settings  in Webif works!

Hello and many thanks for the 9.0 release!

Only issue I'm currently seeing is an instant crash when trying to access the CI settings. The official CI and card inside it (tivusat) are working fine otherwise, I just can't get into the CI settings.

As to DNS:

This now works as Linux intended. Which means no more hardcoded hacking of /etc/resolv.conf.

This also fixes the bug that if you switch from DHCP to fixed IP, the DNS issued by DHCP wasn't removed from /etc/resolv.conf, so it kept working ( I understand from the posts above some people thought this was a feature ;) ).

If you have flashed 9.0-release and restored a backup, and you have network configuration issues, delete /etc/rescolv.conf, reconfigure your network connection in the menu, and restart the box.

I'll see if I can find anything, I don't use lcd4linux on any of my boxes, can just about read the channel logo, so more info is pointless anyway ;). And for that, the standard display skin works fine.

But I understand you see nothing, which suggests lcd4linux is installed but not working?

I'll see if I can find the time to get my Duo2 to boot up again...

Downloaded/installed the AutoShutDown system plugin, but can't locate its settings anywhere (Solo2). Perhaps it's not compatible any more?

I'll also just mention a minor HotKeys issue, also present in the previous v8 images. For some reason, I can configure RED (long) but not RED. Pressing it does nothing, no matter the function assigned. (it's one of the four-color row buttons, not the Record button).

Sorry, ignore the post above (couldn't edit it). AutoShutDown functionality is already included and RED is now configurable. Not sure what changed.

In standby, BLACK and when watching TV it looks like a "rainbow"

It is strange because I back up the settings (autobackup) before flashing and when I use the same settings with 8.3 s then the display shows the clock in standby

and when watching TV it shows the name of the program and which channel!

I see lcd4linux is correctly reinstalled during the restore, and the config is also restored without issue. That can be checked by starting lcd4linux in the plugin menu. OWIF access also works fine.

But nothing on the display.

If you have 8.3 and a working LCD at the moment, could you login and tell me the output of

ls -l /dev/lc*

?
