I there any way to implement a VPN within my VU Ultimo 4K?

 

I currently use one from within my router, but that slows down the whole network dramatically.

Check out Zerotier.

Have you also tried some other media player like MPC? VLC can mask a possible problem.

What a misery, the delay compared to images like Openatv or Openvix, let it go, Openpli finished for me .... good luck ....

FBC for SAT is a bit more complicated and expensive if you really want to use it in full. Anudanan explained quite nicely what can be received with existing equipment normal user already have.

But for DVB-C its easier. You just plug in a cable and you can record 8 streams at once. Of course if your subscription allows this

If Vu+ supplies BSP for OpenPLi then you can expect images. I assume support will come soon ...

I installed vasiliks mod and it installs (havent tested it yet). And forget about adapting newest mymetrix (from OpenATV for example) to OpenPLi, it takes a lot of work to maintain a skin. Its always better to use default skin because it is always mantained and tailored to the image.

I suggest ZeroTier. Its easier to set up than OpenVPN.

This thread is not the place for such comments. OpenPli is in constant development, thats a fact. Solution: do not update often and check forum first

xp1000 cannot handle 1920x1080 skins. Also not et5000

Never buy device that is promising sth only buy it when feature is already implemented.

It seems that it is very hard to push the update I spent lots of hours improving the translation ...
