2. I do not thinks so because marusys/vu was/is korean and when I was still a member of their forum I never saw a sign. I was a beta tester for VU and I think I would have heard it.

the used adapter or more precise the used WiFi chip of your USB dongle is important. When you have the name you can look for yourself with Telnet and then

opkg list | grep rtl8192

for example if the used chip is a RTL8192.

take a look at the movie with the PC tool MediaInfo to see what codec is used. Also enable debug log of enigma2 perhaps there are some parts of gstreamer missing on Ultimo4K. Last but not least the SOC of the Zero4K is newer but less powerful but there might be some bug fixes/enhancements included compared to the Ultimo4K.

in most images you can active debug log and there you should find the print output. If there is no debug log you must start enigma2 in telnet to see the prints.

the arm version is running perfectly on my Ultimo4K with openViX so there is nothing special to make it run only on a certain image. When it fails to install repeat in in telnet because there you might see the reason why it failed. I think it is the best plugin so far to display extended information about a film.

most on Astra/Hotbird I can see are around 17-19. Hotbird 4K1 is and exception with 28MBit. I would gues that there will be 2 services on 1 transponder when they are live on air.

at least VP9 and h264 with a resolution > full hd will not work. Some VC1 will have no image but sound. Some xvid/divx will also not play but this depends on the encoding parameter so it is hit and miss if a file works.
