#240101 et-webbrowser

Posted by daddelfalk on 21 December 2011 - 06:18

MD5 checksum error is due to the fact that littlesat has already uploaded the IPK-Package to the 3rd-Party et6x00 Feed, where it will be supplied! So just easily install from Menu -> Extensions -> Press Green button to choice available Plugins directly from feed. Open Extensions and select et-webbrowser, press OK-Button and it will be downloaded and installed. After that restart E2 or whole STB.

#239278 OpenWebif [E2OpenPlugins]

Posted by daddelfalk on 18 December 2011 - 11:13

this is correct. Boxtype for et9000 is et9000.

Lines have to be changed from:

#else if $box == "et9x00" or $box == "et9200":

#else if $box == "et9000" or $box == "et9200":

and from #else if $box == "et5x00":

#else if $box == "et5000" or $box == "et6000":

This should do the Job.

#228166 Fix Hidden WLAN Network associate

Posted by daddelfalk on 1 November 2011 - 16:15

tested successfully with latest et9x00 Image and Ralink Rt73 Chipset. SSID Broadcast was deactiviated in Access Point 802.11g.

Before this change, no associate to a "Closed/Hidden" WLAN-Network was possible. After the Patch is works properly like associating with a WLAN-Network Broadcasting it's SSID.

Looking forward to see the Patch commited as some floks wondering why WLAN is not working when SSID Broadcast is disabled. This Patch finally fixes this remaining issue.

And also a short Import error for the NetworkSetup Screen is also attached.

Btw: I also want to point out this Thread for further Quickfixes:
