Although you can install OpenVPN on your Enigma2 box it is not to be recommended, you should use a router to do that. https://wiki.openpli.org/VPN . At the bottom of this link there is an experimental setup.

Hi,
ok here now the new version from the script, it now only uses tar for unpacking.
the script does not install 7zip anymore because it is no longer needed.
i hope now all are happy
It would be great if a mod could put a link to it in the first post (with a text reference that it is the current script).

Note: When for some reason you want to manually restore everything don't use the restore (blue button), but go in to the menu of Auto backup and choose autoinstall, as this will restore not only the config, but also picons and plugins. If you choose the blue button, so restore, it will only restore the config.

M.b.v een (goede) router, alhoewel het rechtstreeks op je ontvanger kan, raden we dat niet aan, een STB is daar niet voor ontwikkeld een (goede) router wel.
