als ik in mijn vu duo in de lijst kijk met de plugins kan ik de hbbtv browser plugin nergens terug vinden, klopt dat?

Xtrend ET6000

En die was wel geinstalleerd? Nu na een upgrade verdwenen? Zou misschien kunnen maar is niet de bedoeling.

De hbbtv plugin is een 3rd-party geworden en zou onder die feed beschikbaar moeten zijn.

Aan de rand van de afgrond is een stap voorwaarts niet altijd vooruitgang....

Even een mededeling in het algemeen over de hbbtv plugin (of meer specifiek: de opera browser die erbij hoort). Deze is closed-source en zit ook nog eens achter een password, voor ons reden genoeg om 'm uit de "open" Open Embedded te gooien. Zo kan iedereen de gehele OpenPLi weer gewoon zelf bouwen.

 

De opera browser (vuplus-opera-browser-util) zit dus niet meer in OpenPLi, MAAR is door ons los van OpenPLi gecompileerd en is nu te vinden in de 3rd party plugins, de plaats voor dit soort gesloten packages, op zich geen probleem dus. De naam is daarbij ook veranderd in "vuplus-opera-browser".

 

Alleen LET OP: er is iets misgegaan met de dependencies. Daarom moet je om de laatste opera browser van vuplus te krijgen het volgende, handmatig op de ontvanger doen:

 

- oude versie verwijderen: opkg remove --force-depends vuplus-opera-browser-util

- nieuwe versie installeren: opkg update; opkg install vuplus-opera-browser

 

En dan zou het weer moeten werken.

Ik heb het gisteren getest, werkt op zich nu inderdaad een stuk sneller. Alleen de filmpjes van uitzending gemist krijg ik niet spelend en ook de afdeling "Youtube" die er in zou zitten kan ik niet vinden. Misschien moeten we de plugin zelf ook nog updaten, is niet helemaal duidelijk.

Oh ja dat kan kloppen. We hebben packages gemaakt voor de duo2 en de solo2. Op zich zijn de nieuwe versies minder interessant voor de duo en solo-bezitters, maar die worden nu geconfronteerd met een verdwenen plugin.

 

Daar moeten we dus nog even wat aan doen, klopt. Probleem is alleen wel dat ik hiervoor voor de duo en de solo een complete up-en-running bouwomgeving moet maken, dat duurt even...

Can not install Opera browser.

In de Duo2 zit dit volgens mij ook niet in de feed? Als ik opera browser start zie ik een volledig lege pagina, waar wel het adres van de Vu homepage in de browserbalk staat.

De hbbtv-plugin voor vuplus zit momenteel niet in de feed, is bekend, wordt aan gewerkt.

Hmm, juist op de DUO is de nieuwe versie een vooruitgang: die draait prima. En er zijn nogal wat DUO-bezitters; moeten die het onder PLi nu allemaal zonder HbbTV doen?
Ik heb gen Solo, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het voor die box te veel is. Op alle andere VU's draait HbbTV gewoon goed.

PS: je hebt de HbbTV-update van gisteren en vandaag gezien (zie http://code.vuplus.com/gitweb/)?

Ja, zolang er niemand anders is (vuplus zelf bijvoorbeeld) die e.e.a. netjes in onze omgeving inpast, zal iedereen het met mijn vrije tijd moeten doen.

Hij zit er weer in hoor. Wel via een heel andere route dan voorheen, maar daar merken jullie als het goed is niks van.

 

Mochten er problemen zijn met installeren, dan kun je denk ik het beste even kijken of er nog "oude" packages op je systeem staan van hbbtv en opera en die even met de hand weggooien. Maar in principe zou het vanzelf goed moeten gaan.

HbbTV werkt prima met deze plugin. Bedankt voor je werk!

Helaas geeft YouTube, in ieder geval bij mij, een 'Green Screen'..


Vu+ Solo2 voorzien van OpenPli en euhh.. :wacko: 2x M7 801
