It breaks indeed totally the normal tuner stuff.... What a terrible spaghetti code... Sounds like I can start over again from scratch ;) Bit I had lessons learned...!

I suggest you to start with the first again:
https://github.com/O...3f174f4357f5579
Try it with your multituner, I think it works with your multituner(s) too! Moving on, you've added a lot of unnecessary commits imho. I think the first commit doesn't mix up the normal tuners also. Yes, you need to do a job with it, but not much. Try this first commit with normal tuner(s), then add checks (if needed) that it turns out. What the simpler is the code, the less the other tuners get hit.

Well done, although I can't test it at the moment, but I looked at the github.

Sounds like the skin needs to be adjusted or we need to write it more compact (do you have some suggestions?). For the skin there is more place on the left... but I have no idea how to identify hotswitchable... but it can be offered.

And sure it works.... even with less code as we had before and two (me and adhoik) did it together. And indeed it was complicated!

How do you want use left space, when it is config list ?!

DVB-T&DVB-C  or DVB-T+DVB-C ... will be hotswitchable

DVB-T/DVB-C ... will be standard

Q1: "hotswitchable" ... I have on all boxes with DVB-T/C tuner "hotswitchable".  Formuler1, E4HD, usb T230C2 ...

Q2: why must be GUI restarted, when I want enable DVB-T tuners ?

Q3: Yellow - only display one item "use old API..." (i am not home and want not change language remotely)

On the left there is a lot of black in this skin that is not in use but we can consider to use it...
Q2 ni ui restart needed...
Yesterday I changed the hotswitchable detection which might be wrong as it might overdetect... it can be we need to add a startswith avl check to it...
Also more compact is hotswitchable dvb-s+t+c+atsc

There is a lot of place, because he has there 4:3 program... One way is use in old skins same font as is in PLi-HD1 and FullHD skins ...

Btw - when all tuners are hotswitchable, then is not needed write about it ...

I’m afraid only the avl tuners are hotswitchable.... eg the vu DVB-t/c tuners are not hotswitchable. So maybe we need toncobsoder to add the avl check

About Q2 - "Q2 ni ui restart needed..."  - if it is "not ui restart needed", then it is not true. Today's morning I reflashed 3 boxes ... enable DVB-T tuner ... still in tuner list is as "Disabled", still services grayed. Restart gui helps - on all 3 boxes.

Maybe this tuner is not hotswitchable?
The grayed out is maybe some work on progress... the other mode as currently tuned might indeed be gray. But it is cosmetic. Doesn’t reload channellisf not work?

As I wrote - I have all "hotswitchable" now.

It is not cosmetic, when I must restart GUI, because without it each zap on DVB-T service is error about tuning.
