Lol, not quite.
Our hoster has replaced an old and failing FreeNAS server by a NetApp NAS, so the data needed to be stored offline while the swap happened, and is currently restoring. As it is 1.2TB, it takes a while.

Ok, so the driver loads, and it sees the stick. We can't do anything more I'm afraid, the rest is your local environment.

Nee, niet direct.
Probleem zit 'm in het feit dat de systemtime plugin helemaal geen configuratie op slaat, en dan valt er ook niets terug te zetten. De auteur van die plugin zal dus aan de bak moeten.
Het is overigens het plan om NTP in OpenPLi 8 te integreren, en dan is het probleem vanzelf weg...

That happens when a core library is updated, due to dependencies that forces a rebuild of a lot of other packages too.

No, I meant you need to use bash. If you are using bash, then OpenVisions script is bad.
In case of OpenPLi:
- git clone git@github.com:OpenPLi/openpli-oe-core.git
- cd openpli-oe-core
- MACHINE=vuultimo4k make
Then build an image with:
- MACHINE=vuultimo4k make image

There has been an update of OpenSSL, and because it's used in or liking to almost everything, we need to do a complete rebuild.

Just setup a linux build environment, create a bitbake recipe for the driver software, patch it for the correct kernel if needed, and compile it.

We have several Ultimo 4K's in the team, and I hear nothing but good news (same for all other 4K models btw).
I do have a Duo 4K, with two FBC modules (so 16 tuners), and besides the choppy audio problem that happens occasionally, I'm more than happy with it. And I am confident VU+ will fix this, the Ultimo 4K had issues too when it was first released.
