The correct thing to do is to use the remote control to put receiver into "deep standby". After doing that, turn off the electric supply.

If you do the wrong thing (just turn off electricity), the data is not written from RAM into the flash memory of the receiver.

The commits on 10 April 2017 allow for signal values to be read.

The daisy chaining (connecting to previous tuner, on every tuner) in that wiki page was because of driver issues which have now been fixed. Please ignore that wiki page and use the PLI wiki page.

A,B,I and J are the only tuners that can have a physical connection, this is why they are the only options you have.

Also, you can only connect/associate within the same FBC unit/card/module. So, A-H can only connect to A or B. I-P can only connect to I or J.

@Dimitrij, would you know if the issue ccs has encountered with multiple Terrestrial tuner cards on an Ultimo 4K is a driver issue or Enigma2 issue? He has to disable one of the tuners for system to work. He is using combination of the legacy cards and MTSIF cards. 

The plugin is available in the plugin server, under extensions. It will be listed as remotestreamconvert.

 

Once you install it, you set the Server receiver IP address, username /password. You will then be able to select which bouquets to import.

And now the maintainer has informed us he will only maintain the new branch (which is OpenVIsion specific) and will delete the old branch soon (with the suggestion to fork it into e2openplugins).

An OpenVix user has had problems with multipe MTSIF cards and legacy Hybrid tuner on an Ultimo 4K for a while. The MTSIF card is the Terrestrial tuner that fits into the FBC tuner slots.

OK, I'm actually asking for one of our Estonian forum users. He have 8 LNBs with toroidal-90, they're all normal, and he's gonna have to replace them anyway then. And he have Duo4K and he wants to use it fully. Fully == he wants to use all Duo4K tuners that can be used for his 8 different Satellite positions. He's willing to change LNBs, that's probably necessary, but he wants to know what and how. What else he needs to get the system to work.

 

About me, I have four satellites positions (LNBs). That's enough for me, that's all I need (19.2E, 13.0E, 5.0E, 0.9W). I have purchased for testing FBC LNB Dur-Line UK 124 – 24 users LNB SCR UNICABLE. I'm curious theoretically, if I had four of them, what would that be the matrix that switched them to?

 

 

There is no such thing as FBC LNB. There are FBC tuners and Jess/Unicable (1/2) swithes/LNBs.

 

For your friend, how many physical connections does he have on his Duo 4. i.e does he have 1 card (two physical signal connections) or 2 cards (four physical connections)?  

Yes, possibly PSU.

Only when it is implemented in the correct way.. with the capability to enable/disable it.....
